Claire Menck, Ph.D.

Claire is an award-winning researcher and educator, currently serving as an Associate Professor at National University. Spanning over twenty years of fieldwork, her research primarily investigates food systems, critical change, and strategies for building resiliency before and after disasters. In 2025, she was recognized for her dedication to education with the Teaching Excellence Award in the School of Business and Technology at National University. Beyond academia, Claire also has extensive leadership experience from her career as a leader in the food industry and last-mile logistics delivery and automation.
